Tennis Ayrshire (formerly 'Ayrshire Lawn Tennis Association') was set up around 1923 to serve the needs of tennis amatuers and professionals in the District of Ayrshire.

We are directly funded by the Tennis Clubs of Ayrshire.

Ayrshire Mixed Doubles 2017

The annual mixed doubles competition will start on Wednesday, 9 August. Successive rounds will continue on the following Wednesday evenings, concluding on 30 August. This year the competition will be run as a compass draw, winning teams remaining in the main draw, losing teams going into consolation rounds, so every team will play 4 matches.

Ayrshire Masters League 2017

The Tennis Ayrshire Masters Leagues is an inter-club doubles competition for ladies over 40 and men over 45. It runs annually from mid August to late September.This year's competition gets under way on Sunday 13 August and as per last year, matches will consist of 3 standard match tie-break sets, all 3 sets played, 1 point per set won. There will be no points awarded for rubbers won, so now only 6 points per match.

The 2017 competition will run for 10 weeks from Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 April, followed by the play-offs to be played by the end of August.

British Tennis Membership and Tennis Ratings

As a member of an affiliated tennis club you are entitled to free British Tennis Membership (BTM). This is an arm of the LTA. Clubs are awarded Wimbledon tickets according to the number of BTMs they have so it is in every club's interest to get their members to sign up.
