Tennis Ayrshire (formerly 'Ayrshire Lawn Tennis Association') was set up around 1923 to serve the needs of tennis amatuers and professionals in the District of Ayrshire.

We are directly funded by the Tennis Clubs of Ayrshire.

Ladies' & Men's Doubles Leagues 2018

The 2018 competition will run for 10 weeks from Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 April, followed by the play-offs to be played by the end of August.

Ayrshire Mixed Doubles 2018

The annual mixed doubles competition will be held as usual on Wednesday evenings during August. The format will be similar to recent years, the main competion consisting of 4 or 5 rounds of a elimination competition. First round losers will move to a consolation elimination competition, so every team will be guaranteed at least 2 matches. Please get your team entries in as soon as possible. Closing date for entry is Tuesday, 24th July.

Ayrshire Masters' 2018

The annual masters' competition mixed doubles will be held as usual on Sunday afternoons during August and September. 

There will be a few changes to the competition this year, most notably that there will now be two age groups, one for players aged 45 & over, the other for players aged 55 & over. Unlike recent years, the age qualification will be the same for men and ladies. Clubs will have to think carefully about the the ages of their players before deciding how many teams they can enter into each age category. Over 55's may be play in either age group.

British Tennis Membership and Tennis Ratings

As a member of an affiliated tennis club you are entitled to free British Tennis Membership (BTM). This is an arm of the LTA. Clubs are awarded Wimbledon tickets according to the number of BTMs they have so it is in every club's interest to get their members to sign up.
